
Young William Ross started playing basketball at 7 years of age. He attends the Cathedral School by Columbia University and plays for the Fastbreak AAU squad. Like all 12-year-old kids, he digs the NBA jerseys and the game accessories, but it all comes down to the shoes when the ball hits the court.
The 5-3 guard likes playing ball because when he has the rock “he feels in control.” His signature move is one of the playground’s most revered – the reverse layup.
