Ray Allen feels the energy at Quai 54
Under the Eiffel Tower, in front of the International Streetball Community they run, Celtic Ray Allen and Fabolous were celebrity duns, Jordans, everywhere for the eye to see, the emcee on the plug-one, and at the end France won. Mike Reckford from King of Hoops Atlanta shares his experience with Bounce on his journey to France and speaks frankly about his second consecutive loss to the French at the event.

Scheduled for a US release date of July 2, 2011, the new Jordan Quai 54 outdoor performance basketball shoe, (already released in Europe) is out and looks good! The rapper Fabolous has been spotted with a pair already and a few sites have given them frozen flavors status.

2 Hard 2 Guard glowing like Iron Man outside Dyckman Park – Team Nike 2011 before first 5k game vs United Brooklyn
I got five predictions for Summer 2011, and I’ve stated my thoughts on Dyckman Park. I personally don’t feel that the park is ready for 5k Weds nights, but I want to be wrong. I remember being one of those dudes that wanted to compete and get paid, and I also remember being a coach in Dyckman Park with a brand. And while I never received a dollar to coach or paid a player to play outdoors, I know the energy of the spot. “Bring your game, not your name” , a simple statement printed on dozen of tees, summarizing well the philosophy that was reigning around the 7th edition of the Quai 54. Still sponsored by Jordan Brand and Foot Locker, the biggest intertionnal streetball competition came back this year gathering more than 5000 people on two days with the usual mix of strong basketball, Hip Hop entertainment and some unexpected surprises.
