NetScouts basketball, an organization that helps inner-city players become professionals, is set to host several camps along the East Coast in the next few weeks.
The firm will be in NYC on July 23 and 24 at John Jay College and Rucker Park, and will hold camps on July 25 in Philadelphia and on July 26 in Washington D.C.
In the past, NetScouts basketball has hosted events in Eugene, Ore., and San Jose, Calif. Read More »

Doctor J and the Philadelphia 76ers of the early Eighties are the reason why I love this game. All my italian friends “escaped” (like me, more or less) from football (soccer), were all Lakers or Celtics fans. According to the Pennsylvania Uniform Crime Reporting System, almost every month this year about 30 lives have been taken due to homicide. The goal of this campaign is to help ease the pain of the families affected. Also, to provide a positive alternative to lower crime in the urban communities and potentially long-term throughout the city. The Founder of Ballers Convention states, ‘ My campaign serves a purpose which is to assist in decreasing the violence in Philadelphia and its surrounding areas.’
