Five years ago, LeBron James averaged over 31 points, 9 boards and 4 assists per game as a senior at St. Vincent-St. Mary’s HS in Akron, Ohio. LeBron was, as the tattoo on his left shoulder indicated, a beast. Teamed with some of his best friends, Dru Joyce, Sian Cotton, Romeo Travis and Willie McGee (Joyce and Travis went on to play at U. of Akron), he led the small Catholic school to two state titles.
Right along side the boys from Akron was Kris Belman, a self-described “kid with a camera trying to get an A” in a class at a film school. Read More »
