The Hollis All-Stars (Queens, NY) played their hearts out beating the Tennessee Thunder 33-30 to win the 5th grade championship classic division in Cocoa Beach, Florida with only 6 active players. The undermanned squad from Hollis finished the tournament with a overall record of 5-1 .

This past Spring my grandfather passed away just short of 98. In 1925 at the age of 14 he was part of the Borough of Manhattan Championship Team from PS 141. As the decades came and went fitness remained a major part of his everyday until his early 90’s.
We all love the game, here is a way for all of us to stay healthy while enjoying our passion at the same time.
