Got up Thursday morning, despite a head cold and 19-inches of fresh snow in NYC, to get a chance, along with other members of the media, to test the brand new Jordan 2011. Primo trainer Idan Ravin, whose work is acknowledged by top players such as Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, and Gil Arenas, had the cones laid down on the Garden floor, looking real serious and ready to drill. Jumpin’ it up at the 2010 Jordan Brand Classic at Madison Square Garden

As I post this, I just witnessed the youngest team in the NBA defeat the defending champion Lakers in game 3 and I can’t help but think that many of the guys who participated in the JBC last Saturday will find themselves in a similar situation soon. By now you’ve probably heard about a little game that was played at The Garden this weekend called the Jordan Brand Classic. If you haven’t, check out the recap by The Lower East Scribe – it’s thorough. Those who were able to see the game were given a glimpse into the future of basketball.
