With twenty-nine different variations and themes in the bank, the original Chiefglider Low is set to return to the asphalt this coming summer. Toned in powder blue/orange/white hues that match Free’s San Diego Clippers unis, the shoe is accented by a soup can that derives from World’s tendency to scream “Hot Soup” as he decimated his opponents, dropping buckets from anywhere and everywhere. Technologically speaking, the Chief is loaded affair: the brand’s “w.l.o.t.c.” shock-absorption inserts line the heel and midfoot, while a w.h.u.i.t.a. spring pad resides up front for a ride smoother than B’s transition game.
