Founded in 1993, K1X is the in-house subsidiary of a German company called Kickz. Initially, the latter focused its business endeavors on selling rare and vintage kicks to European sneaker fiends and aficionados. The brand inevitably grew, and eventually developed their own line of sneakers and basketball themed clothing under the mantra “Nation of Hoop”.

k1x Chiefglider II
The Chiefglider II is just one of German brand k1x’s many guard-directed options for ’08. The royal blue/white colorway offers a more subdued, traditional look to the shoe, but performs identically to the louder graffiti-filled flavors I mentioned a couple of weeks ago.
This specific version will be dropping at select Footlockers in early June.
