I had a real good time at the adidas Showroom yesterday afternoon checking out the new Fall line slated for the 2011-2012 basketball season. The company is clearly making noise with the adi-line, with the 2011 Dwight Howard signature shoe coming into the fold according Sports Performance PR dude Paul Jackiewicz. The new Rose shoe has a liver look than the 1.5’s, but don’t sleep on the new, lighter Howard signature shoe and the AdiZero Ghost. Read More »
adiZero Rose 2 “All Flights Cancelled” Signature Shoe
Paul Jackiewicz from adidas had me in Monday to take a look at the new Derrick Rose adiZero 2, up for an October 2011 release. I also got a nice look at the new Dwight Howard signature shoe (October 2011) along with a lighter adidas Pro Model with an updated old school touch on the toebox. (September 2011). I’ll have the goods on the Rose shoe and the chop on the other new joints tomorrow afternoon on the site.

Whenever I look in the window, there’s something different. One week it’s women’s hoops apparel, then it’s distance running, then it’s cross training. The one constant with them is change.
A serious shot of Dwight Howard’s vertical and Slim Chin, in a gold jumpsuit and fat gold chain, along with a Derrick Rose and pet cheetah cameo, highlight the new Adidas commercial “Fast Don’t Lie.” Check it out.
