Basketball is a big part of my family. My pops played, my older brother plays, I get down and even though she never hooped, mom-dukes can tell a ref he missed a call with the best of them. Coming from a family of hoop heads, my little brother had no choice but to catch on early. Me in ARCH Athletics Shorts:
These black/white shorts are from the ARCH Athletics Apparel/Footwear package Chris Burns graciously sent me a few weeks back. The spacious fit and relaxed aesthetics made them my go-to this July. Unlike some of the silky jammies I’ve posted below, these match everything in my wardrobe. . .
To learn more, contact Chris Burns at The CCB Network.
Me in ‘09 k1x Hot Soup Double X Shorts:
I got these in the mail earlier today (Shouts to Troj @ Kay-One!) and had to floss immediately. Admittedly, I haven’t worn a pair of all-mesh shorts in a minute now, but the thorough ventilation on these puppies had me singing, It’s been a long time”, as I hoisted jumpers in the 95 degree heat earlier tonight.
Who else is feeling the extended ribbing along the hemline to form the “X”? Classic? World B.’s “Hot Soup” logo is stitched onto the rear for added flavor.
Attention: k1x Products are available to U.S. customers at Pick Your Shoes!
Where to cop: Pick Your Shoes.

Founded by locals Pasha Bains and Chad Clifford five years ago, the two best friends are like the Tim Grover’s of the city that once had the Memphis Grizzlies. Read More »

One result of all of this was becoming connected to a league of public middle schools within Manhattan, which opened my eyes to many things. Many of these kids while talented are not exposed to the resources necessary, which are vital in their advancement as student athletes. Since January, we have been opening our gym downtown to these athletes at no cost where they have begun to receive much of the guidance and instruction that they both need and deserve. Read More »
