Like him or not, Fat Joe has an ill sneaker collection, lots of platinum, plenty of cars, nine studio albums, and of course, front row courtside Knicks tickets. Joe’s Jealous Ones Still Envy (J.O.S.E.) released in 2001 and went platinum. J.O.S.E. 2 dropped today and will likely sell more than any record that you made! Don’t hate the rapper, hate politics. Don’t hate on his collection, hate that you envy it. We are all Sneaker Heads, sneaker connoisseurs, sneaker collectors… whatever. Joe’s an aficionado like us and we should respect his art and hustle… Plus what he’s done for hip-hop culture.
Who cares if he’s not the only one with Kobe Jordan VII PEs?! Do you have them? Respect was Joe’s first hit record and it’s only fitting. Jealous people are weak. Congrats to Joe for the release of his 9th studio album. Props to Cool Bob, who recorded this sneaker interview for ESPN a few years back. Read More »
TOMS shoes has completely redefined the meaning of a shoe “drop.”
TOMS Shoes is the first brand to donate one pair for each pair sold; “One for One.”
TOMS ShoesandElement are giving us the chance of a lifetime to fly to South Africa and lend support to the first shoe x skateboard “drop.”
TOMS recently teamed with Element to create the “One for One” shoe x skateboard concept. For each TOMS x Element shoe x skateboard sold, one will be donated to a child in need outside of Durban, South Africa.
In October of 2009, a select group of individuals will be lead to South Africa to deliver Element skateboards and pairs of TOMS Shoes to underprivileged youth.

The latest installment of from the Nike Hybrid / Fusion series is the Air Force 1 Huarache. Pictured above is a white/ice-blue colorway.
The first Nike Hybrid I remember, was the Air Max 95/360 “One Time Only Pack,” which morphed the Air Max 360. Fast-forward to now and we had an out of the box fusion of the traditional Nike Air Force 1 with the Nike Huarache. The clear sole are nice accent to the otherwise low-key looking shoes. Here we have a detailed preview of the Metallic Red Air Jordan I which will be bundled with a Metallic Green colorway to form what has already been nicknamed the Air Jordan “Do the Right Thing” pack, as the colors seem to be inspired by the movie.
2009 will be another year full of Air Jordan packs. While the two models of Jordans included each of the Countdown packs of 2008 added up to 23, this year the packs each contain the same model.
I was lucky to be in San Francisco last Tuesday, where I saw my Knicks get waxed by the Golden State Warriors. After the game, Nate Robinson told me that he would be wearing green shoes for the Sprite Slam Dunk contest. Kryptonate would not ellaborate as to the style, make, or model of the shoes… all he would say is that they are green. Those green shoes Kryptonate teased us about ended up being a lime-green colorway of the Nike Foamposite Lite. -Via Sneaker FIlesRead More »
