Adrian Mack grew up in Hitchcock, Texas, a small town outside of Houston. He attended La Marque HS, where he was a three-year letterman in football and four-your letterman in basketball. After high school, Mack packed his bags for Texas Southern University, where he continued to pursue ball outside the classroom.
After much hard work on the playground, he built a name for himself. Known as Konfuzion, Adrian found that his name carried beyond streetball. Read More »

Even a state not known for ball, like Wisconsin, has playgrounds and ballers galore.
Okay, okay…even though, hoop heads and historians alike cannot always vouch for Wisconsin in the past, we must look to the present and the future state of streetball. Right now, the dude called Read More »

In an effort to raise awareness for the Maccabi Electra Tel-Aviv vs. New York Knicks game on Sunday, October 18th, all-star players from the Entertainers Basketball Classic (EBC) marched from 155th & 8th Avenue (Rucker Park) to 34th & 8th Avenue (Madison Square Garden). Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Migdal Ohr (Hebrew for “Tower of Light”), Israel’s largest orphanage since 1972.
The last game, played in 2007 between the two teams, made history; it sold out! That game was the most in attendance for an NBA or NHL exhibition game at the Garden!
If this video is not showing on your screen and you would like more information on the event go to: New York Knick Facebook Page and click on the Knick logo and then go down to the bottom to “older post.”
The New York Liberty blog on the Madison Square Garden website gives former player Kym Hampton a chance to answer questions to fans and hoop heads alike about almost anything — from fashion to basketball to food. In the Q&A for Part 10 at 2:48, she responds to my interest in basketball courts:
