Mingus Murray – playground ballin’ to musician looking for that break…

Mingus Murray, the son of legendary Jazz musician Charles Mingus, debuts at the Mercury Lounge tomorrow night – March 17. If his music talent is anything like his jumper, be ready for a sure shot night. Mingus was a dead-eye jump shooter during his high school days at the Hun School of Princeton and once dropped 36 against a nationally-ranked Blair team lead by Luol Deng. Hustle down with your date to 217 East Houston Street, pay the $10.00 cover, and support a true player from the playground (Dyckman Park alum). Set time starts promptly at 7:00 pm.
