Playin’ Ball W/ Rakim The Latest / Nov 27, 2009 / 5:11 pm

Recently, www.247hh.com interviewed me about one hot, sweltering day, circa 1990, that I got to play ball in New Orleans against one of my favorite MCs of all-time, hip hop legend Rakim. The artist known for saying, “Nobody’s smiling,” in his song “The Ghetto” actually cracked some shiny brights after our game! Peep the interview:

If you’re wondering, Rakim played football in high school out in Wyandach, Strong Island, where he’s from, and definitely was one of the better recording artists I’ve ever played against on the court.
