This past fall marked the inaugural season of the vitaminTHICK Flying Squirrels in the top-level men’s league at Basketball City Boston. Each game the Flying Squirrels raised money to help Merritting Attention, an organization that provides children with academic and athletic programs that would otherwise be unaffordable or unavailable for a majority of the participants. Currently the Flying Squirrels are auctioning off vitaminTHICK jerseys, vitaminTHICK t-shirts, and Jordans as a package on eBay. There are two auctions up currently so bid before it’s too late!

Merritting Attention is a great youth organization providing needed recreational/academic and cultural programming, for some of Boston’s aspiring student-athletes. The program won a national AAU championship in the Florida , a few years ago, in a youngsters age bracket. I definitely will continue to support their efforts and hope that Bounce readers will contribute, too.
