Adrian Mack grew up in Hitchcock, Texas, a small town outside of Houston. He attended La Marque HS, where he was a three-year letterman in football and four-your letterman in basketball. After high school, Mack packed his bags for Texas Southern University, where he continued to pursue ball outside the classroom.
After much hard work on the playground, he built a name for himself. Known as Konfuzion, Adrian found that his name carried beyond streetball.

He carried the reputation over into the hardwood and eventually found a spot on the Harlem Starz as well as the Texas City Rangers in the American Basketball Association (ABA). Recently, he signed with Team 720, which is owned by cousin Taurian Fontenette aka Mr. 720 and sponsored by Gooseneck Clothing Line. Mack has noted that his game is more than just national:
I very much consider myself as one of the top ballers in the world.
He has traveled globally and has played with some of the top players in the world. In Houston, he has participated in the Fonde Pro-Am League, where he found himself going up against NBA ballers like James White, TJ Ford, Tierre Brown, Cuttino Mobley and Damon Jones. He attributes his current skills to playing against talent as deep as it has been in the past. In the off season, his workout team looks something like a Texas tornado of talent with his cousin, Taurian Fontenette, and Ronnie Price of the Utah Jazz.

Hitchcock’s handles
Despite talking straight hoops, the Texas native has kept his options open. In his younger days, Adrian has modeled and even dropped a few vocals (he still sings today). If there is one thing that he has always loved though, it would be hanging out with family: his mother Gloria, his sister Cynthia, his brothers Dwayne, Hamp, Levi, and close friend Bre Jackson.

Casey,
Off subject, I wanted to recognize your efforts on behalf of 40 Cal. You demonstrate that Bounce is a true family on and off the court. Good looks bro, when it counted most.
Ps. I would like to see Adrian go against Houston playground legend “Tha Sho” – Myron Allen, a 6′0″ guard with lots of handles and a jimmy. He has been a mainstay at Houston’ Nike Pro-City repping Fonde Allstars and has given the biz to Tj Ford, Luther Head and Mike James, just to name a few victims.

Bruh, I just been fortunate to have watched Houston’s, Atl’s, Chi’s, Philly’s and NYC’s finest, in Mike Bivins’s streetball challenge, here in the Bean.
I am interviewing him soon and will get back with you.

@ Funkalot,
Bounce is a family, sbut mostly for the NYC writers not necessarily the contributors because we see each other more.
I will be coming up to Boston sometime in January. Be sure to drop me a line, so we can link up and you show me around the playground circuit!

@ Ali,
I am trying to push my Blacktop Bio something a la your the Playground Gave Us but more on the community level and tying ball into players’ resumes. I’m also pushing the envelope on a more national level as you can see!
You are always inspiration my dude! UPenn and Temple…those Philly educations must have put us on with that right path! Remember, Ali, you are always THAT DUDE!

Ive watched Adrian aka Konfuzion play against tha sho Myron Allen in the Fonde League on Sundays, they went at it all day. Myron is a great player who plays in China right now, Konfuzion displayed good skills and moves against Myron the entire game. Both are really good skilled players.

jojo says:
well i will give you the facts since i am a hater, and we will see if this clears things up: Adrian KONFUZION mack, you graduated from La Marque High C/0 2002. You never played varsity basketball or only a couple years of football. YOU DID NOT PLAY ON A COLLEGIATE LEVEL. You lied several weeks ago and said you scored 60 pts in a college game. This never made it on ESPN? I am not hating on the man, I am hating on the lies. Our entire city is laughing because you are lying to eveyone and calling this grade D harlem globetrotter team a pro basketball team. Google the name. The only information that ever comes up are social websites he created himself. He isnt even related to the real athletes from Galveston County that he claims. Just stop believing the hype, this is a true fraud. 26 plus years old and you perform for high schoolers, the lie will end soon enough itself.
PS. Greg Randall C/O 96, from La Marque, won a ring with the Patriots. Claude Terell C/O 01, played for the Rams. Cody Douglas C/O 02, signed to the Titans until career ending injury. ADRIAN MACK is not pro and has fabricated his whole past. Thats all I am saying.
PLEASE GIVE ME MONEY TO GAURD HIM, IF YOU GOT ENOUGH MONEY I GOT A LINE OF PEOPLE WHO WANT THE SAME OFFER, INCLUDING HIGH SCHOOL KIDS. i DONT EVEN WANT THE BALL ILL JUST GAURD HIM I HAVE KNOWN HIM ALL MY LIFE,, SORRY NOT INTIMIDATED JUST LAUGHING AT WHAT YOU CAN GET PEOPLE TO BELIEVE. HE CANT EVEN DUNK. THAT UGLY SHOT THAT THAT HE SHOOTS WILL GET SLAPPED INTO THE STANDS BY A REAL DEFENDER.
IN YOUR TOWN HE MIGHT BE AWESOME, BUT TO LA MARQUE HE A JOKE

Wow…thats deep.
@Jojo,
I just get the interviews from the players…I will have to follow up with more people from now on to get more accurate information if what you’re telling me is true.
Regardless, I think we have some challenges on our hands! Jojo, if you can get these on tape – we have something to talk about. I feel like somebody is going to get crossed in the end…
Keep it real but keep the peace too, my dude.

@ JoJo
Ok i hope this JoJo dude aint from the same county that Adrian is from cause if so, konfuzion give this dude some hella fits. People who takes there time out to hate on another man besides this wack JO. I mean dude u cant even guard me yourself, let alone what make u think u can guard konfuzion. He can shoot and his moves are off the chain. As far as we kno Jo, he even tried to get u in the ABA but u failed. People the ABA is the same league Julius Ervin aka Dr.J played, George Gervin, jus to name a few. JO u cant bring up NFL players in a Basketball conversation and as far as we know, Cody Douglas didnt play one down in the NFL. Were talking Basketball here my dude, no disrespect to Cody Douglas cause he was one hell of a Football player and him and Adrian were High School teamates. But why must u hate when this dude is the only person from La Marque High School doing something Professionally, he has been in the Galveston Daily Newspaper the Last couple of years to back what he’s doin up. Rather its Harlem Starz, (globetrotters). whatever the case may be, dude has traveled the world and is doin something out of basketball. But behind every successful person lies a pack of haters and this JOJO cat is one hater. You cant guard this dude and yes Casey this dude would get crossed into a dream if they were playin in a real game. Talking bout he cant dunk, ive seen him dunk off one leg in Middle School before he cracked his ancle in half playing High School Football. He’s in the Magazine and your trynna get some Pub of this dude. Man oh Man. Anwser this question and i ll shut up. Who else besides this dude from La Marque is traveling doin something with Basketball besides this dude? Anwser that for me please.
D.B said that!!!!!!!

Holler@a hoaxer says:
I dunno…watch any video of his jump shot. I can’t see any High School coach putting up with that jump shot. Looks like the way a 12 year old girl shoots…I haven’t seen one nba player with even close to such an ugly looking set shot. Not even Shawn Marion’s….I truly believe he never played in High Scool on Varsity or that he played college. I don’t believe that Ronnie Price is his brother either like he has claimed for years. I also don’t believe he has modeled…cuz i mean come on. If you look at any of his social networking sites they are all devoted to advertising himself “Professional Basketball Player” as his profile name…or “In Bounce Magazine”…etc. He is all about hyping himself and it’s just ridiculous…if your a true hooper and a true star there is no need for that garbage. Why tell people how good you think you are? “I very much consider myself as one of the top ballers in the world.” lol seriously
December 13th, 2009 at 2:48 pm
jojo says:
I wont argue this because i am grown. If this guy wants to lie about his self than he has to answer to that. Everyone in Galveston county laughing so have fun in your fantasy world. I love sports, I admire good players. You are almost thirty Adrian get a real job. If you wanna lie be a lawyer because basketball gone have you steady dreaming so wake up.
And 1 mixtape and pro basketball are two different types of basketball. please dont let that mixtape defione your success cause thats sad. once again LAMARQUE know the truth he cant come down here and sell those lies. peeeeeeaaaacccceeee

Please give me something besides this aba bull. what about an old recruitment letter. no better yet some news paper articles from you having a good game??? UNtil then you cant call me hater but i can call you liar. you are worst than a “pedophile” with all this lying on the internet. shame on you and who ever puts up with it. Delvin Bennettt if thats your real name i wont address you, because i feel sorry for you, because he got you actually believing him, so thats punishment enough. oh yeah he hurt that ankle doing no contact off season drills for football,, like his freshman year in high school so kill that noise. All i ask is back up your stories with resources next time “mr. casey lee”

Cody Douglas says:
Damn, yall boys is crazy. I’m come on here to read an article bout my partna and I see this mess. I usually wouldn’t entertain anything of the sort, but this is too damn funny. Devin you are absolutely correct, I never played a down of regular season football in the NFL. However, I was all-state twice and a all american in high school. I also was a four year letterman and three year starter in the SEC. I was signed to three separate contracts by two NFL teams as well as time in NFL europe and the arena league. So, while the bulk of my time was spent on practice squads, I’ve still been paid to play my sport at the highest level and have been able to see the world because of football. I know this is a bball site so I will also add that I lettered in bball at lm too. I know you meant no disrespect and non taken my dude. I’m just proud of my career and feel very blessed of the things I’ve been able to do just because of football. No matter how anyone qualifies it, I busted my ass and got to live my dreams. As far as Adrian is concerned, I will never hate on anyone for doing positive with their life and wish you all the success and all that you want from the game my dude.

Black says:
This is not a very credible piece of journalism. This guy never even made his varsity roster, now he is one of the top ballers in the world? Please Peter Pan! LM has a junior point guard that will mop the floor with this bum, let alone matching him up with NCAA or NBA talent. Yes, the ABA was home to some all time greats. However, that league folded and this new watered down version was resurrected by new groups with the hopes that it could capitalize on the history of the defunct league. The starz and aba can be best classified as semi-professional. I watched the youtube videos and those where some real nice ballers on the court with you. Students, faculty members, and middle age weeked warriors at 24 are elite competition. You averaged 17 in the aba, wheres the video of that, pics, articles or something man. Is a link to your teams website with a legit bio too much to ask? Im interested in purchasing season tickets, where do I go? You are a tireless self-promoter and fire back at your so-called “haters” (which a true world-class baller would never do) so a little back up shouldnt be too much to ask for, right? Oh yeah, galveston daily news doesnt count, sports editors buy anything you sell them, have published several uncredible articles on county basketball wannabe’s. Thank you
