I unfortunately see a ‘high’ ankle sprain or knee injury in their futures….

aso ankle braces are better (thats what they rock in the league)

  3. Sho-Nuff says:

I was always told if you constantly wear these things, your ankles will become dependent on them.

  4. Russ says:

Good amount of truth to that statement. The smaller muscles surrounding and supporting the ankles with be turned off so to speak; they don’t need to function because the brace is doing it for them. Loss of function is generally not a positive thing. More importantly, the very ’support’ these things provide causes some limition in mobility of the ankle; thereby forcing the next thing up the chain(i.e. your knee) to become more mobile. Problem is, you knee is not supposed to be THAT mobile; its function is one more of stability. When you force it to become mobile by restricting the ankle(or the hip); bad things are more likely to happen.

whoa whoa whoa…..something you basketball lifers have missed. marcus jordan can wear an adidas speedwrap ankle brace but not an adidas sneaker. where are the jordan brand braces? and why go to c. florida knowing they wear adidas and cry about wearing your dads sneakers?

  6. Teddy "Doowop" says:

^^because the school gave him a verbal confirmation before he signed on with them. anyway, for all the aforementioned reasons, i am not down with ankle braces

  7. illest says:

ted…my bad for the rhetorical. dumb decision as is.
