THE GLORY DAYS IN NEW YORK WHEN YOU COULD ACTUALLY TURN YOUR SET ON TO MSG AND IGNORE WALT CLYDE FRAZIER AND MARV ALBERT CAUSE YOU WAS TO BUSY WATCHING THE GAME!
I just got the word that the greatest shoe AND 1 has ever released is hitting shelves Nov. 11. The company that was once endorsed by former NBA player Latrell Spreewell (before he went a wall) has been in the trenches of the sneaker game since the AND 1 mixtape tour technically died in 2006 with the split of players either playing for Ball For Life or AND 1 (I hope they didn’t think James Jones and Steve Blake could sell sneakers.)
With this release, they are back in the game for at least the winter unless they can put together a time machine that will take us back to riverbank state park 2001 when the whole AND 1 tour erupted with Rafer Alston who is still endorsed by AND 1 till this day. I can remember being in middle school begging my Mom for a pair of Spreewell’s even though I was still a huge Nike head and could not live without the check on my shoe (Still Cant).

This is the same shoe Vince Carter had on when he revolutionized the NBA slam dunk competition in 2000. I’m not saying that you will jump higher, but I will say these shoes are so comfortable, light and durable that there is no way you can complain about the fit ’cause it was perfect then and the proof is in the pudding.
If you didn’t have Nike or Reebok on then, you more than likely had on AND 1, not to disrespect Adidas or anything but the three stripes weren’t in sight then, and the T Mac’s weren’t bumping until the winter of 2002. Check out the different styles below.
