Nice to see how humble the man is. A lot of people could learn from this. Watched him and Jiggy go at it on 145th, was a hell of a duel with neither one backing down. Most impressed with the fact that Mookie is not just a ballplayer but a well rounded young man with a college degree.

Mo-Mo-Mo-Moooooooooooooooooooke. Beep Beep. The road runner. One of my fav to watch. Nice piece. Love hearing from players who have genuine love & respect for the game & his peers. He is going to be a Hell of a coach one day. Still has a mean crossover.

Mookie is one of the most underrated Playground stars in NYC. This dude regularly gets it in and is nonchalant about it. That is what makes him cool, he goes about his business like "I do what I do" because I can and it ain't no thing!

Case in point, I trekked from Beantown to catch HITS, in late July. The weather forecast was bleak and HITS was played at their indoor site. I caught a couple of good games like Too Hard vs. Dwight Hardy and then I watched Mookie singlehandedly destroy, I mean plain torch Steve Burtt, Jr, Gary Irvin, KiKi Clark and whoever else tried to cover him. He must have had close to forty, as he kept draining 3 after three 3 with ease or twisting them with his hesitation, spin and jumpback moves. His squad won the game, much to the frustration of the aformentioned players, who left the premises dumbfounded.

They had just been Mooked!
