Kadour Ziani was here this Tuesday testing out the rims at the world famous streetball court, KINGDOME. As I made my way through Martin Luther King projects, I could see from a distance that he started his test runs by jamming the ball between the backboard and rim. Some kids who were on lunch break from Rice HS were out watching and couldn’t believe what they were seeing. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing, I don’t know anyone at the age of 36 who can jump as high as this guy-matter of fact I don’t know anyone who jumps higher than him! At that age, most ball players find their knees deteriorating and won’t even attempt to jump off of the asphalt. I just want the world to know this guy is for real-he even gave me a few pointers on becoming a better dunker, which I will not share with the world lol, just know if you are in a dunk contest and he’s the opponent you already lost. After all the dunking was done, we proceeded to playing 3 on 3. Kool Bob Love, whose sneaker release party was off the chain last night, came through to run with us with a bike and an apple which he probably stole from a pre-school teacher on her way out of work just to catch Ziani. Also photographer of the year Kevin Couliau and Spaceball Mag’s own Bang Lee a.k.a. the Japanese Volcano were in the building. We had a lot of fun and hope that Kadour will grace the city of New York next year with his out-of-control dunks, which will probably win him every dunk contest trophy this city has to offer. Check out the cool video clip of him kicking the ball off of the Kingdome rim and footage of the outrageous stuff he does overseas!

40 Cal!!!
you forgot to tell everyone about how the kid you were guarding in the 3 on 3 wound up vomiting on the side of the court! that was surreal! you shouldn’t have breathed on him, man. that wasn’t nice! haha! that’s why i steal apples from 2nd grade teachers on my bike–so my breath don’t smell like yours with a miniature barefooted kadour jumpkicking out your tonsils with a garlic stuck in his big toe!

Kadour’s ability is amazing and when you include the fact that he is 36…he’s out of this world period!!!..I also understand from Bang that he stretches daily for hours…

Kadour is a great dunker! BUT I wouldn’t go as far as calling him the world’s greatest dunker though

Kevin Couliau says:
Obviously there will never be a WORLD GREATEST DUNKER, because not everybody is on youtube, and comparison with former or new dunkers are always made. And what is exactly a dunker, somebody that can dunk on someone, on a halt time show…we have to moderate our words anyway.
Honestly I’ve followed Kadour a bunch of time on basketball events, and his perfomance is just incredible considering his age, I don’t know a lot of dunkers, ballers, that can dunk and stretch like that…let’s see in 10 years if all those young new dunkers will still be able to jump. Much respect to Zianimal.
