Jim Couch Rising Freshman Regional Games at Baruch College, Sunday, October 25, 2009 was great. Both of the New York teams had good players who are rank and play aau.New York A had Jordan Washington ,Pathways HS who did not attend the game but would have done serious dangerous mainly becuase he 16 or 17 years old and 6'7'' you have to call him a beast. But Kendall Kinloch from St. Raymond’s was their to do get those rebounds and he a great blocker too.He was blocking anyone in his way.Jay-Quan Lynch play great and very good at taking it to the hole.Shane Rector played in both New York Games and play good in both.He is ood ball handler that is also quick.New York B also had Jason Boswell from St. Patrick’s,Marlon Moses,Lincoln HS and Davonne Ragin, Wings Academy. They all play good during the game and doing serious business in the AAU scences and in every tournamentthey are in.I also want to say that Jason Boswell had a strong two handed dunk off a fast break. The New York teams play really good an hard even though they did not get the W.I am going keep an eye on these kids

Zach Radz at the Jim Couch Weekend

Went down to the Concrete Jungle where Dreams are made of on Sunday for the Jim Couch Rising Freshman Games / Bounce Magazine at Baruch College with my Albany City Rocks Crew .

Well , as I'm sure you may know by now , I am not a Freshman , I am a 7th grader so just to get invite to practice with & travel with my older friends was an honor for me . Thanks to Coach White for a great week .

I only got a few minutes in the game , which is what I expected but I still had fun & we won the 'chip as well . It always amazes me that in NYC , the awards are always HUGE . Where I am from , you would have to win the State Title to get we got for one game . Thanks to the Couch Foundation & all the sponsors who supplied us with nice uni's , t-shirts & copies of Bounce .

The highlight of the day for me was the skills & drills prior to the game . I went out the floor with what looked like al sophs , junes & seniors & I was by the far the smallest dood on the floor . After running through a few drills , Jim Couch asked who I was & where I was from & complemented me on my skills . The Head Coach of Baruch did as well as Sean Couch who gave me some love at the end saying to all the older kids " shorty got it done out here today " . It is little things like that continue to make me work hard & travel as much as I can to be seen by as many people as possible .

Last but certainly not least , I need to thank my Mom & Dad for all the support this year . Can't do it with you guys .
