K1X reps Jager Bomb and Chris Caveman were in town to shoot some ill exclusive photo’s for the upcoming catalog and catch some ill grity NYC streetball, so I told em to meet me at together we chill, the very next day on k1x.com the world was introduced to the future of streetball maybe even the NBA, J Love the 13 year old harlem phenom. To play in a tournament which is being consider’d top 5 in NYC in 2009 at the age of 13 is a huge acomplishment, just to even go out there and show composure against guys who been playing this game for at least two decades more than him was very impresive, the boy got skills and you should look to see him being recruted by division 1 schools very soon, maybe starting this year.

Bobbito Garcia a.k.a. Kool Bob Love says:
haha. cool clip, like that he was playing unselfish and trying to hook his teammates with the alleys. his teammate malloy ‘the future’ nesmith was once a youthful phenom, too, thus the nickname. nice to see them out there together. the future, by the way, is having a tremendous summer, had some 40+ games at tri-state, some even greater than his age (he’s 40+ just like me!)

I still think that there should not be an age cut off….the young guns should be able to run with the Men’s divisions if they have talent.
Period. 12, 13, 14 years old…whatever…
The youth prove their game around 13-17 years old, so why not give them a chance?

This boy might have some nice skills and a good feel for his teammates, but honestly, com’on, nobody is playing any defense what so ever. From this footage I even dare to say that the pink team never even heard of the word defense. Even my 93 year old grandmother could play in this game. How is J-Love supposed to guarde any of these guys if they play serious and go down low in the post.
who won the game and what was the score anyways?
