Just in case you did not see the official K1X Together We Chill logo yet..
Wednesday night, I had to just stop at 119th street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues to see what the hype was about at Together We Chill. I knew this tournament was very special when I saw the crowd from a block away, I hadn’t seen that many people at a game since EBC in its prime. There must’ve been 300+ Harlem spectators who came out to watch players like Ira Miller, Space Jam and K1X endorsed Kareem Reid. Today, it can only get more packed when I introduce the newest team in the league, K1X. I would tell you who’s playing but it’s a big secret and would spoil all the hype already added by TWC commish George Gonzalez & DJ Ted Smooth. Make sure you come out ’cause you never know who I might be bringing, and just to give you a hint, a man who jumped over a car on ESPN will return to his first NYC tournament in two years at TWC. Can it get any better?
