Multiple colorways of the Nike Zoom FP are now available at Eastbay.

Inspired by the Fun Police, Nike designer Jason Petrie cooked up the Zoom FP by implementing design cues from KG’s Air Garnett III, Tim Hardaway’s Zoom Flight T and JKidd’s Zoom Flight V.

The back upper heel panel of this colorway features the classic blue gradient from the Garnett III, while the unique dimple pattern that wraps up from the outsole is the inverse of the Zoom Flight V.

The medial upper has a blue stitched swoosh similar to the Zoom Flight V.

My favorite part of the Zoom FP is the outsole. The blue translucent heel and the graphic at the top inspired by the Garnett III, along with the hologram in the middle from the Kidds makes the sole of this shoe one of the coolest, most detailed I’ve seen in a while.

With a solid upper, intriguing design cues and Visible Zoom Air™ unit in the heel, this shoe is well worth the $88 price point.

UNREAL says:
that only begs the question, where are the design cues from the T-bug?

Jordan Hagedorn says:
The exposed arch midsole and reduced rubber aspects of the tooling (along with the midsole dimples) and the use of injected phylon are from the T-bug. The medial stitching also pays homage to Hardaway’s shoe.
