I wrote a feature on Emerson Murray today in the Vancouver Sun. Em’s got major, major game and he can dunk with the best of them. He’s one of those hybrid guards, kind of like Derrick Rose. At just 16 years old, the St. George’s HS junior is already getting looks from St. John’s, San Diego State and Gonzaga. So take a mental note of the name Emerson Murray. Something tells me you will be hearing that name again pretty soon.
*On a side note, if you read my article on Murray, keep in mind it’s a Canadian newspaper. I know it looks like I didn’t spell check certain words, but your friendly neighbors (or should I say neighbours) to the north, do things a little differently grammatically. Here’s the guide:
honoured = honored
Grade 8 = Eighth Grade
That’s my Canadan Lingo 101 (haha). I’ve been here for over two years, so feel free to ask me more about other Canadianisms, eh?
