Cory “The Undertaker” Underwood has signed with the Dongguan New Century Leoparads (and I thought Sean Bell/1.3 The Champs was hard to say) of China’s pro league.
The K1X star, who was invited to the Philadelphia 76ers’ training camp in September, has been manning the interior for the Albequerque Thunderbirds of the NBDL.
Former NBA players Jelani McCoy and Bonzi Wells also play in the China pro league.

Wow, it seems like everyone is pushing the overseas market today. Sometimes, it works out better for American players to play in other countries to gain cultural experiences in addition to experience on the court…
Much respect to Cory’s hard work…it will pay off soon enough!

Basketball is growing exponentially in China and Stern will be launching an NBA branded league there in the next couple of years–Underwood should stick around.
