Steve Burtt Jr. – Summer ‘08 in Harlem
Check this story on Steve Burtt Jr in the Daily News titled “Between Bombs and Basketball.” He’s playing for Edlen Ashkelon in Israel which is very close to the unrest in the Gaza area. Steve broke the EBC scoring record in ‘07, (68 points), and is currently averaging 21.4 and shooting 54.5% from the field in Israel.

Steve’s an outstanding player…I hope he stays safe over there. The crisis is an ongoing battle, and tourists claim the Gaza Strip area as America’s war zone of the past, present, and future…
I hope the only bombs that he sees are the jumpers and 3 pointers he drops on opponents!

yeah i agree i pray that he stays safe over there and god watches over him by the way i was at the 68 point game and it couldve easliy been about 90 he scored he missed like 10 easy layups

I swear I think these harlem guards just get better and better Steve burtt jr, who scored 68 points at the rucker amazing and also Anthony foy who plays at this boarding school in California, and Jeremy hazell from seton hall these 3 guards are great and have a ton of pressure on their shoulders to bring harlem basketball back
