Homicide On Handle Magazine Cover The Latest / Jan 13, 2009 / 10:05 am

Homicide

Sure there was Antawn Dobie’s outlandish 88 points in two games at the T.O.C., Kenny Satterfield’s unimaginable day at H.I.T.S. and John Wall’s Yankee Stadium shaking dunk in the Elite 24 at Rucker Park this past Summer.

But none of those compares to the 44 points Corey “Homicide” Williams dropped against former NBA Defensive Player of the Year Ron Artest in early July at Nike Pro City.

Mr. 187 seemed to embrace the spotlight wherever whenever and his stretch of four straight 40-plus games will have a special place in Summer ball lure.

But Hommo is showing he’s more than just an asphalt talent. The former Alabama State standout is currently averaging about 19 points per game on 54% shooting for the Townsville Crocodiles of the Australian Professional League.

Homicide’s dominance has earned him a spot on the cover of Handle, an Australian basketball magazine. Check it out here.

not for nothing, i read brad graham’s handle magazine interview with corey and i couldn’t put it down. it showed many sides of him i’d never known about, including the personal strain playing overseas has put on his family which you really get to read about it or even know unless you’ve experienced it yourself. salute to handle mag and big up to homicide.

    keep doing your thing!

  4. Jaquam says:

i know he’s been hearing this alot but he should be in the league right now he’s been killin dudes every summer i had the chance to see him play like 6 times in my lifetime
44 against Ron Artest! That just shows you he deserves to be in the NBA, but at the same time he’s holding his own down under. he’s showing that you don’t have to be in the NBA to have a good pro career.

  5. Tzvi T. says:

He’s real nice, but 20 in Australia doesnt translate into NBA shine.

  6. Elliot Rosado says:

True Balla #1 in N.Y. I don’t know. Ron Artest got that spot right now. And Anti freeze aint to far behind. And to be honest with you guys the #1 balla in N.Y. right now is Lance Stephenson and that includes streetball. Homicide going up against Born Redady would make for a great match up.

  7. Sean Couch says:

While Corey is a handful, “T2″ and “Anti-Freeze” are also just as formidable.
