kev! pictures are flavors, as always! how do you make non-ballplayers look so good? hahaha! the ‘i do bench press’ dudes you’re refering to are most probably all former heavy drug users. there are a number of drug rehab programs in that area. it’s great that they were getting out in the park and having fun.

I didn’t realize there was a basketball court at Central Park. I was looking for one when I was a volunteer there.

I been once to Columbus Park this summer and saw that same guy who was shooting the free throw in the picture. Not alot of competition for me there but its better than the one in Grand Street which is also in Chinatown. Plus the court at Columbus Park had lots of cracks and was like a uphill/downhill if you playing full. Nice article of your trip that day.
