Last days were specials for two of our ‘Tres Amigos’. Andre Barrett came back home to play against Lakers and Clippers in several NBA pre-season games and Quinton Hosley made his debut in Euroleague and did his best game with Real Madrid. The bad news come from Darren Phillip, who took advantage of their few minutes his ACB game, but didn’t have a real opportunity yet.

QUINTON ‘T2’ HOSLEY
(Real Madrid vs Panionios: 24 minutes, 17 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assist and 1 steal)

Euroleague brings together the best teams of Europe and Q played his best game in his debut. His first battle in this competition was great and Real Madrid won 87-68. ‘T2’ was starter and did his thing: a tremendous dunk after a steal and a couple of alley oops. He was happy at the end of the game, but people who really know him are waiting his best yet…

ANDRE ‘DRE 3000’ BARRETT
(F.C. Barcelona @ L.A. Lakers: 20 minutes, 5 points and 2 assists)
(F.C. Barcelona @ L.A. Clippers: 14 minutes, 5 points and 4 assists)

‘Dre 3000’ came back home last weekend to play two exhibition games against L.A. teams. Barrett played more minutes than usually and tried to prove that he’s a NBA baller. He was a real PG, so he didn’t score a lot (as he usually do in the playground). His team lost both games but he had a good opportunity to improve his time on the court and showed his skills.

DARREN ‘DP’ PHILLIP
(CAI Zaragoza vs A.G. Fuenlabrada: 9 minutes and 3 rebounds)

The best big man in the streets of NYC were waiting his chance and looking for a protagonist rol in his team. Zaragoza lost 66-73 and ‘DP’ just was nine minutes on the court in his Spanish league game. He only shot once and missed, but caught three boards. Be patient bro!!

  1. Casey Lee says:

Props to these three!! They surely have held their own in college and on the blacktop…next stop: Europe!

The Euroleague most notably has the best talent next to the NBA!!
