This is a new piece for adidas’ NBA Tested. Brotherhood Ready. campaign featuring Duncan, Garnett, Billups, McGrady, Howard, Farmar, Josh Smith, etc. Really cool for the brand to take it to the gym on an open-run feel, especially since some of the players brought out a little playground flavor to their passing which you wouldn’t see them do in an NBA contest. What do you think?

    commercial is hot, love that it’s not scripted. only thing i’d say critically is that some of the plays it didn’t look like anyone was playing real D, would’ve been more authentic if dudes, especially this high powered pack, were going at it full throttle. kevin garnett is the coolest dude, out. we just did the nba 2k9 release party together, and i interviewed him years ago for my old vibe magazine column. he exudes positive energy. as the current champ, i hope that translates into plenty of sneaker sales for him. he deserves it.

    Farmar and J-Smooth killed it tho. Gotta lot of respect for Farmar after seeing “Second Chance Season” the documentary about Nick Young (which yall should write a column on).

    Adidas is killing it right now.

    a lot of talent on the court for that run. makes me want to drop everything right now and hit the gym. very nice commercial. genuine.
