TNP/Legends Rocked the Rego Park 30 & Over chip.

The Legends/TNP defeated MOB 85-62 in the 2008 Rego Park 30 & Over championship. Leading scorers from the contest were Sherron “S Class” Brown with 27 and Kevin “Plastic Man” Young with 17 points. For more info on the contest, please check out League Lineup: Rego Park.

for those who may not recognize, the player photoed all the way to the left on tnp/legends is none other than my homeboy Seth ‘Up North’ Marshall. he played at fresno state, and terrorized, i mean, really demoed dudes in the playgrounds for years. he was a perenial ebc at rucker park all-star, and he and i both appeared in the 2001 nike freestyle commercial as well as the soul of the game book. real cool brother who gave a lot of cats buckets! also one of those legends who was like really this close to making it in the nba. he was that good.

Word Bob, Seth was killin’ Nike Pro-Ams and and local city tournaments for YEARS. And he never took a play off from what I could rememeber. Kinda reminded us youngin’s of Anthony Mason in the way he approached the game but not necessarily in game play. cool dude too…

but this looks like a 45 & over league! haha, just jokin’ old-timers
