I started consulting with Nike way back in November 1993, and since have done a ridiculous amount of fun freelance gigs with them. To celebrate some of these memories the next two months leading up to my 15th anniversary, I’ve decided to share some of the things we collabed on . . .

That’s me skippin’ and dancin’ with the ball. Bounce publisher Justin Leonard didn’t want to guard up! He didn’t need to cuz I was off like a mug!
Last Fall ‘07, Jordan Brand invited 23 top editors from b-ball/sneaker publications around the world down to the Bulls arena to meet the MAN himself, preview the XXIII, and get some court time. When Jordan unveiled the white/lt. blue butters, believe there were 23 “ooohs” in unison . . .

In the locker room, Gentry Humphrey knowledged us about the brand’s insider history with little unknown tidbits . . .

They also had every J fresh out the box on the table for us to peep . . .

Jay Corbin asked me what was my favorite Jordan and I swiftly pointed to the XI, although once I played in the XXIIIs I changed my mind!
Shout out to everyone there, especially Jay Corbin who had us all laughing dum hard on the bus as he was snapping on everyone, even the driver! Haha!

Now, correct me if I’m wrong, but that looks like you got the Jordan 1’s on in that picture. I seem to remember a certain someone putting that sneaker under the Skippie section of his book. Hmmm…haha.

How come no one could ever talk MJ into playing in at least 1 NYC summer league game? Its not too late.

The XI is so elegant, but the Titanium Blue/Grey, White/Red, or the upcoming black/red/white, Motorsports Edtion rank right up there as one of the greatest shoes, ever. Finger-print outsole, organically constructed upper, intricate stitching…Word! Both shoes in fact, should rank up there among the greatest to grace the earth. Thanks Tink, and thank you MJ.
Seems like an awesome event; I see Chi and Scoop. Is dude in the middle the head of KATC?

The XI is my fave…
Damn the world just keeps getting smaller. Jay and I known each other since the sandbox. Me and that dude would cause all sorts of comedic mayhem from elementary school on up. I’d have to say he was my first worthy snap adversary!!!
