Oh, Brandon! He was the most crowd pleasing guard in the first two Boost Mobile Elite 24 Games at Rucker Park starting in ‘06. In ‘07, announcer EJ the Mayor nicknamed him “The Take Over” which was way appropriate! Brandon never took to my “Do Be Doo” nickname I gave him the year before. I actually like “Take Over” better! I wish him well overseas, and hope to see him back home playing in the NBA come ‘09-’00.

Brandon Jennings is a true point-god. He came out to hunter pro-city for a few games with his cuz M.Williams(Warriors). They were looking strong in the backcourt along wth Keon Lawrence(Seton Hall). I must say he played a lot older than he is. His poise mixed with flashiness in the flow of the game was crazy. He was pulling up for fast break threes, catching lobs, playing with the defense. He definitely is NBA ready watch out 09′-10′. He’s like Ginobli and K.Anderson at the one. If he was eligible for Arizona he would of averaged a double double easy and had them high on the top25. He’s that good.

man its messed up that he chose to take a gamble and go overseas for one year. but then again i guess he didn’t see himself at another school. i agree with balleye if he was at arizona i can see him averaging about 16 and 10 a game (can’t go higher on points because he’s a pass-first guard)I wish the best for him overseas and hope that he still has a good stock going into the 09 Draft

a phenomenal talent with showman’s flair and skills to pay the bills. his euro adventure will open a lot of doors for some to follow in his path. and although the ncaa may not be happy, the kid’s got to do what’s best for him and his fam. why play the ncaa charade? the time is now for this kid to get paid.

i wish brandon the best, but as someone who travels to europe frequently, it will not be an easy transition for him. it’s difficult for dudes who are college graduates, seasoned veterans, all that, so what do you think a minor is gonna do in a land with different languages, customs, people, laws, etc? i actually think he’ll make the most out of it and learn a ton, but if he had academic problems at oak hill that didn’t permit him to be college eligible (i don’t konw the whole story), then i’m hoping he will have some type of guidance out there to help him out. if he couldn’t handle high school workload, he will definitely need to be strong to take on moving to another country. i really, really wish him well.

I wish him the best too. Brandon is a great player. He plays flashy ans serious at the same time. He does his thing and the crowd enjoy with his game. I remind him at ‘07 Elite 24 at Rucker Park and I never seen another guard like him (for his age).
I think he could make a good job in Italy, but he have to take care because the transition could be difficult. Anyway, I think that the door that he opened was TOO dangerous for the NCAA… Good luck colleges! hahahaha.

Major props to Brandon. He’s the man. I agree with Antonio. His game is both flashy and serious at the same time. Not many youngsters dont get that.
Good points Bob, but you’ll never know till you try. Look at all the Nba players following the lead of a high school player this summer.
Glad I got a chance to see him play this summer and I hope we’ll be able to get footage of his games in Europe. I know Bounce has the juice to make that happen!
Peace

the underage rule that stern implemented is a shame anyway. this kid obviously should be able to go to the NBA out of high school. the revolution is no longer televised because the godfather ended it. the overseas scenario is definitely going to be tough for a teenage kid. but i admire him for going against the grain.
