Skip, just like Pistol, resides near the top of my list in regards to favorite players of all time. While I love the creativity that players like Professor, Hot Sauce, and Pharmacist bring to the table, Alston’s work in Mixtape Volume 1 and in the NBA can be attributed to the pure legality of his moves. He’s not carrying, palming, or traveling with the ball–and he’s still shaking cats! AND1 dropped this commercial a few years back to advertise the Drive Mid. Enjoy the shoe, but stay for the footage.

Shout Outs to Skip to My Lou for those that never saw him play in person in the streets. It was like he had magnets in his fingertips. A real yo-yo on a magician string. Also big ups to Daryll”Showtime”Hill(Baby Skip) and Corey Fisher(Baby Show). Let me not forget Jerome”Fridge”Holman(Baby S.Holloway). These are some of the best two games(Streets/Structured) guards of late. They all were blessed with unbeleivable talent. Hopefully Skip& Co. come out to the T.O.C. to see what he along with others passed on. We all come from those before us. Much respect to all the Great Ones that we grew up idolizing. K.Anderson,R.Strickland,Booger,P.Kirkland,E.Cota(I could go on and on) Let me not forget Mal Tinsley/B.Davis/S.Francis. As of now they play in the N.B.A. like he’s in Rucker or any street tournament and is still one of the purest Lead guards in the league. You guys should do an article of all the guards/players who emalute each other. It real easy to see who everybody’s favorite player was.
