Villanova point-god Corey Fisher’s game is as serious as his expression.
The last ticket to the 2008 Nike Tournament of Champions has been punched, and it belongs to Bingo’s All-Stars. This super crew dethroned the 3x defending Dyckman Tournament (204th st./Nagle Ave.) champs TNP in a rematch of last summer’s finale in Wash-Heights. Bingo was led in the backcourt by the mixtaping talents of Corey “Fisher Price” and Bounce Issue #13 cover man Kemba “EZ Pass” Walker. A soul clap goes out to Fisher for taking game MVP honors. He beat out Ron Artest, the Glover Brothers, and Kemba for the award, finishing with a stellar 16 pts, 5 dimes, and 3 defenders in the blender.
Despite the red carpet roster Bingo was sporting, TNP was in no way intimidated. They used their patented full court press and dead eye jump shooting to make it a game early. Even though there are no weapons allowed in the park, Jason “J-hi” McLeish had his ratchet on him. He poured in a 20+ point performance for the losing squad off the strength of an exceptional mid-range game. Charles “Stone Cold” Jones and Primetime chipped in both scoring and defense for TNP, but poor free throw shooting mixed with some costly turnovers in the final minutes ultimately did them in.
Ron Artest a.k.a “NBA Money in the Streets” played enforcer while Mike Glover controlled the boards on both ends. Each of them converted on timely three-point plays, which swayed the game’s momentum in favor of Bingo.

2x Nike Circuit champion Ron Artest. Will he rep PDG QB (Pro City) or Bingo (Dyckman) at T.O.C?

Corey Fisher and Kemba Walker(FUTURE PROS) are two of the best lead guards in the country. NYC stand-up. Mike Glover is BIG FOOT. Ant Glover is getting younger every summer. Bingo is a hell of a coach. Shout Outs to Trinity Fields(Iona College)also in that stellar Bingo back-court. J HI has been a top 5 guard the past several summers. Ron Artest defines NYC basketball. He’ll play in 5 games a day and not wear down. TRU WARIER! It has been a great summer. Shout Outs to all the tournaments & players in the city. We’re in good hands. See ya in 09′. Also I love Bounce Magazine.

Ron Artest, Is a true role model. Some people may think this statement is crazy but it’s not. I have seen Ron Artest play all summer and he has played as hard against these teams as he would if he were playing the Lakers. I have seen him come out and support his younger age groups for his basketball program (Team Artest) As well as chill with them all day. There is not one kid that he has turned down this summer that has asked for an autograph or a hand shake. I even saw him buy out the ice truck at Tri-State so that the kids would not have to pay. Seen him lose a tooth in the middle of a game (Tri-State) And still kept playing. Good luck to Ron Artest this year.

I attended La Salle with Ron, and after watching him play at Dyckman last night, I must say that watching him come full circle is the stuff of legend.

Where and what time is the TOC?
I’d put my money on Ron Ron suiting up for Queensbridge. Bingo is still loaded though, TOC should be really interesting.

hey splash corey will be off the chart this year. He battled tendinitis last year which affected his lift. If they let Corey run the team and slide scottie over to his natural position. 1st or 2nd team big east. He’s as good as levance fields maybe better. Pitt just won more. Dont forget malcom grant transferring to miami. Another problem. They had the best backcourt in the big east
