Lou Roe is the man! Lou Coached my 12 year old UMass Summer league team to the finals when I was 12 (12 years ago) and taught me to keep my head straight on the court. You could always tell he really cared for all of the kids in the camp. He was the reason I started to love basketball.. watching him and Camby lead the 94 minutemen to the final 4 was unreal to watch. I then went on to play at UMass myself (UMass Boston.. close enough!) Lou if you read this shit.. you're the man!

Wow, Did he say Traveiso?

I recently read that Shawn Respert had Cancer. I never understood why he wasn't in the league.

Bob, you gotta do a "Where are they Now" for ballers.

I'm agree with DP. Roe is one of the best players in Europe and also one of the best players NOT IN NBA. He can play like a leader and make things happend when the game is almost loss.

This is my dude played with him for 2 years in the spainsh league (ACB). We played in the city of Sevilla. Can I tell you I watched him do things that you only see on the big stage meaning that NBA. He is a "tweener" so to speak, but he could of done it for sure and worked out. As you guys not there are guys in the league that are called that as well. With his hart and ability if put in the right situation he could or better said would of been done it with no problem. Also remember he got better with age which is alway a plus. As far as I can see he has been the best pro for yrs and probably one of the best players in europe and probably one of the best non NBA player that ever played the game that took his game internationally. DO nto forget as well he is from the tri state area, AC. But also remember he played in the league for two seasons. Great Article!!

Lou Roe ruled! But he was the size of an NBA small forward with the game of a power forward, beyond mere "tweener" status.
