The New York Knicks, partnering with legendary CITY WIDE ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION, Inc, one of New York’s few free tournaments, are producing a summer youth division (for boys and girls ages 8 - 16) of the Jr. Knicks program presented by Sprite and Footlocker for 2,000 children on weekends from July 12 - Labor Day. This league is run out of legendary Rucker Park in Harlem – The “World’s Most famous playground” – as well as with events in NJ and Westchester.

The program tipped off Saturday, July 12 with a big Opening Week event at Rucker Playground with games between New York, New Jersey and Westchester. Official league play began the following day, Sunday July 19 .

Other activities scheduled during the summer will include a City Wide-Rucker
Pro Hall of Fame induction ceremonies on August 9 and a City Wide-Rucker Family Day on Sunday August 10.
This is the 43rd season of Citywide in New York City.
