Question: Is it true that Michael Jordan weartested a pair of white/blue Wizards-inspired XI’s during practice in Boston, but failed to rock them come gametime?

Answer: Mystifying questions like these heighten my excitement for shoes–seriously. And this particular situation has led to some of the wildest, most inspired speculation on the World Wide Web. Is MJ wearing a white/blue sample pair of the aberrant, yet noteworthy Jordan XI? Is it his nylon-based warmups that are reflecting off the black patent leather (seen on the Concord XIs–a general release at the time) creating the appearance of a shade of azul?

My man Nick DePaula at Sole Collector approached Global Footwear Director at Jordan Brand, Gentry Humphery and asked him about the situation. G explained, “Nope, we never made blue/white XI’s for Michael.” So there you have it. It’s done. Completed. No more inverted pictures. No more uncivilized, unsupported claims.

Got a question for me about footwear? Relationships? Cheesecake recipes? Hit me up here, and we’ll discuss.

Bob-I try to lead a healthy lifestyle. I’ve taken a sabbatical and haven’t drank soda or eaten fastfood (except this gyro place by my crib–still need to write my post about that), and have been feeling a ton better overall. Been eating tons of apples, oranges, bananas, and drinking water. Anywho, I still like to indulge with my post-dinner treat, so it’s necessary for my cheesecake to use the only and only Philadelphia Cream Cheese. (I seriously hate it when the cake isn’t think enough and is too whipped). I’ll have to dig up my favorite recipes and drop them here or through the e-mail next week.

    Peace!
