Down by five at the half, The Pride eventually caught their rhythm and won 127-125 led by Satt with 36 points, 7 assists and 8 res. Barrett rocked 32, 5 and 6, and Williams finished with 26, 11 and 4 in his HITS debut. Shagari Alleyne recorded a triple double with 12 points, 13 rebounds and a new HITS record of 17 blocks.

he’s from the BX, Soundview area. he played at Rice and go a little run at Kentucky. it seems like he really loves to play. he is not really an NBA prospect but consistently suits up in tournaments and deals with the jokes and ridicule over his size.

btw, u hit a couple key 3’s the other night that killed us, saggy # and all. lol

  3. LeftCoast says:

Shagari is a 7′3 center that played at Rice graduating in ‘03. Played 3 years for Kentucky then transfered back home to Manhattan College, sat out a year but never suited up for the Jaspers. Entered the draft in ‘07. Not sure where he plays now.
