As Kansas collegiate ballplayers went pro on Draft Day last Thursday, the Sweetwater Basketball Camp proved to be more than just a one day jumpoff–it was a week-long extravaganza. With the sponsorship of College Coaches Network and Double Dog Sports Entertainment, the camp educated youth about basketball’s struggle to seamlessly integrate, and how the game originated. California streetball legend Jay “Boogie” Brantley traveled with the camp as it visited four YMCAs.

The camp was abound with highlights, but kids delighted in seeing Brantley allegedly drop 30 points and 18 assists against a team comprised of Tyronne Lue, Chauncey Billups, and Earl Watson.
