Love it or hate it, the Converse Wade 3.0 is a marvelous piece of design. And while there were echoes of consumer disdain in regards to the shoe’s awkward aesthetics this past fall, riddle me this: Do you vividly remember the 3.0 or the Nike Zoom Durability? (My point exactly…)

From a performance standpoint, the Wade 3.0 is certainly compelling, as the shoe’s double lasted CMEVA midsole combines great comfort with reduced weight. The double and triple-stitched upper promises for great durability over a long summer of decidedly assertive play on any outdoors surface. For only $50, the newest model from Converse and the Dade County family is nearly too good to pass up.

they look too ugly to not feel good! almost look orthopedic/therapeutic!

  2. Teddy "Doowop" says:

I dont think the shoe is ugly at all actually, it IS awkward though. I got a pair of the black and neon green joints and I find them to be comfy and look fresh on the court. A little too awkward off the court however.

i dig Ted,”theyve got a good personality” huh? lol!

  4. Jeremy Ripley says:

Teddy, bro, what’s your quiver looking like? I have a feeling it’s utterly bananas…

  5. Teddy "Doowop" says:

Haha..Its decent. Its definitely not your stereotypical “down with the fads” collection. Thats not to say that I dont have kicks that kids are buzzing about and what not. Its probably at around 200 or so right now, predominantly bball kicks and “lifestyle” kicks. Do you have all the joints that you post about? Whats your email brother?

  6. Jeremy Ripley says:

Yeah, great minds think alike! I try to avoid the neon colorways and too much patent. I know you’re playing though, you got some heat tucked away!

As for my collection, I don’t have much of what I post. All of the shoes pictured on that brown leather hot tub cover are mine. I’d estimate that I have 50-60 pairs (trying to acquire more weekly…haha!) I’ll have to post my quiver up one of these years.

And definitely, hit me up at my e-mail: Jeremy@bouncemag.com. We can rap about kicks, and perhaps get some of that buttery collection up on the site!

    Peace.
