SBL Semi-Final action last Sunday. The elbows were flying as cats were definitely not trying to lose!

Sunday Basketball League 2008 Finals
Sunday, June 29

Park West H.S., 50th St. bet. 10th and 11th Ave., 5th floor gym.

A Division: 5pm A Game v. Harlem All Stars

B Division: 6:30pm Fear No One v. Ed All Stars

Yes, I can’t believe it–our squad The 97 sold out in the semi-final last week and lost, after having gone 12-1 during the regular season. There’s always next year!

I really didn’t want to take this picture, but felt compelled . . . Dude got shook bad and literally had his ankles broken. I hope he’s alright. I’m in no way trying to add insult to injury by putting his photo up, that’s why you can’t really see his face to protect the innocent . . . when he first fell though we was screaming on the sideline!

  1. Wikipedia says:

We may not know who he is, but his boys probably do. And after he heals, they won’t let him live down getting his ankle broken and getting it posted on bouncemag.com

  2. Seldom Seen says:

Ouch!!! that just takes it to another level…talk about getting more than your feelings hurt…I sincerely hope he has medical insurance and mends quickly…might also want to seriously consider playing in a different league next year so as not to overexpose himself…not a good look
