In 2002, I was a 13-year-old sixth grader. Having not attained any form of monetary affluence during those rough times, I was relegated to approximately two new pairs per year. But what does it all mean you ask?
Outside of wearing my shoes so much the soles would fall off, it means I missed out on these gorgeous Asics Ichiro baseball trainers! The Mariners teal is simply off the meter, and the mesh is probably great for these humid and hot midwestern summer days.
Asics, check your stockrooms, because if you have a size 13 around….

Bob, unfortunately, do not have them, and will never have them. Asics did and continues to only makes Ichiro models in his size! Oh well, buttery shoe, too bad I missed out on it!
Might have to bring some crazy heat just to make up for it…
