On June 3rd, I was fortunate enough to open up for Louie Vega’s Elements of Life band down in our homeland Puerto Rico. Special guest vocalist Nina made the hair on my forearms raise when she got on the mic and sung to the Orishas–wonderful and spiritual indeed, and fitting for La Isla Del Encanto. If Carlos Arroyo and the PR National Team hears this during pre-game warm-ups at the Olympics, they might just win the Gold . . .
