Keistar Productions presented “Wonder-Full,” the annual tribute to Stevie Wonder’s genius with myself and DJ Spinna providing the music for our 10th anniversary of the event, and Mr. Stevie Wonder himself dropped through to bless the crowd with his goodness and blessings . . .
Mad love to Stevie for his sharing and beauty, to Keita for making this happen, to Spinna my “Wonder-Full” partner for life, to Stevie’s daughter Iesha and her uncle Mark for holding Stevie’s hand and physically bringing him to our party, and to every single soul out there touched by this unforgettable, monumental occasion . . .
Great to see Stevie out and about and in top form. He’ll be on tour soon in the US, and just anounced dates for Europe. The tickets here in the UK sold out in minutes so the had to add an additional 2 dates in London.
Looking forward to seeing him live and awaiting the Gospel Inspired by Mama Lula.
so gracious of stevie to not only come but sing so many songs!!! i mean there’s no greater musician in my mind. now i gotta find a way to get to the chi for his free performance at the taste.
Bobbito, you and Spinna are true pioneers of that good soul music! The fact that you’ve been doin the Wonder-Ful party for all these years, and this year to have Stevie come thru and pay respect speaks volumes…Keep slicin’ those cucumbers!!!!!
this was a life highlight. and a love highlight. been talking about it ever since. to me it was like when the Beatles arrived in the States. I’ve never heard noise like that and I don’t expect to ever again! love ya B, thanks for helping me be part of this slice of history.
Brings back memories of bouncing around with my older brother to spots like Paradise Garage, The Loft etc where the soulful sounds of Steve Wonder and James Brown kept you grooving. Bobitto you’re doing big things bro’. Much respect!!!
