To commemorate its 100th birthday, Converse is releasing true-to-material reissues of their performance behemoth from yesteryear, the Pro Leather ’76. Forever enshrined in the annals of footwear history as Julius Erving’s signature ride, the shoe has withstood the test of time and remained popular in hoop and hip-hop circles. Cons’ celebration begins with the retro of a white/red and olive green/white mid, along with a cocoa/ light yellow and denim blue/tan.
Pictured above is the cocoa/ light yellow colorway that I was luckily able to snag before release. Let me tell you folks, this shoe is the real deal—materials are superb and the chevron and star logo is akin to the ’76 version.
Thanks Paul!
