Alright!
1. Glad you ended up grabbing the Revolutions, how are they for hoops?! The Melo M4 shorts are bananas.
2. Any tips for keeping the sneakers clean? I use the Footlocker spray, it’s alright. It seems like you’ve been rolling in the Speed Creators for a while now, they still look brand new!
3. You should’ve went with the plaid side out on the k1x shorts! haha…

got the same jordan shorts on right now, jeremy. they’re my favorite for the summer so far, and i’m headed to puerto rico so you know i gotta dig’em if i’m repping them in the homeland! did you know carmelo is half puerto rican?
the plaid side is fresh, but clashes with the green of the shoes. was more subtle to see it peekin’ throught the mesh, good conversation topic . . . “are those plaid shorts?”

Bob –
Completely rando question here but you got any thoughts on two companies owning “The Big Four” of Nike/Converse, adidas/Reebok?
Since you rock it all and more importantly – play in all, do you find this has been a help/hurt to performance, style, overall design?

teddy! my homeboy was making fun of me last winter cuz i only own 2 pairs of jeans meanwhile i got like 20+ shorts, maybe more. i play in a lot of leagues so i get blessed with joints left and right. regarding the sharkleys, i’m dying to wear a pair, actually awaiting their arrival. don’t konw if you’ve seen them in white/white or navy/grey, but they look really appealing to the eye in those colors. when i first them them in the other combos, wasn’t feeling them at all so i hear ya . . .
drew peets-
good comment. i have yet to really sense a help or hurt to the big four by virtue of the mergers. i still look at them at separate brands, and even though partners, they have all maintained different departments with their own designers so it’s not like it’s the same technology just a different stripe. the reebok revolutions are mad comfortable. like mad comfy, but i don’t know how to compare it before their merger with adidas cuz i’ve barely worn their stuff over the years. converse performance tech has improved thanks to the swoosh, but their look is still distinctly different, which may not be an entirely good thing as nike is still the leader in style plus performance.

Thanks for taking the time out to answer Bob. I the comment about Converse was kinda what I was thinking. I see alot of old Jordan 19 cues on that Converse 099 you posted up here.
I think Reebok & Adidas are still pretty autonomous from each other, I just hope that Reebok gets some better design staff in the house. I have to say those Revolutions are some of the better Reeboks I’ve seen in a while. Hopefully they’ll ease back on rapper shoes and work on their sports stuff.
Good lookin’ out.
DP.
PS – I got a few more heat rocks for the “Feet on the Street”.

and yo, not for nothing, i wasn’t mad at the reebok rapper shoes. the s. carter classic was kinda flavor and the others weren’t that bad.
