The search is underway for a talented young (25ish) black actor to play the part of Nat “Sweetwater” Clifton (one of the very first African-American NBA players back in the 1950s) in the feature film Sweetwater. Director Martin Guigui has already spoken about the interest of A-list actors in playing Sweetwater’s coach and teammates but for the part of the main guy, anyone with the acting chops could land the part and kick off their movie career in a huge way.
