Forget Hot Sauce, And 1 got Hot Chile! No really, And 1 Chile’s team played against BALL 4 LIFE recently down in South America. The highlights are off the hook as usual. B4L’s squad featured AO, Spyda, Main Event, Pharm, Hi Octane, Mr. 720 and our own Joseph Vecsey among others. Enjoy.
Hey J. Vecsey, I think the problem here was the editing of the footage. With so many of the things that have occured in streetball on the professional end it is better to drop footage that has been edited correctly. The edits here were not smooth and it made the video very difficult to watch… Not from a talent standpoint but because things seemed so abrupt in the cuts and unclear. I think the b4l.net site needs less flash and a bit more time in iMovie or WMM so that we know what is happening with the team. It’s hard to stay relevant when the info is missing. So I wouldn’t say waste of time, but I would say that when I see the names listed, I expect a certain level of quality and this vid could have defintiely been better.
Thank you for the response back…so are you Mr. K1x? You are right, but that video was taken from somebody in Chile. Not Ball4life. The website will be up some time in June to promote the tour which starts in August. Do I know you by the way? Your website looked interesting…When I have more time, i will check it out.
I am not Mr. k1x. We rapped on the phone when I was talking with Euegene Napolean about Main and you guys. I was working with MARQUI at the time. I have since decided to do my own thing with my own sneakers. We only spoke shortly. Whoever Mr. k1x is is probably a pretty jaded dude who was going to hate no matter what. I was just responding from the standpoint that after speaking with Main and seeing where his heart and head is, he has the incredible opportunity to do something great with streetball. The market is still there it just has to be treated with the love that you guys can bring. I can help with that. I told Nap that and I am telling you that. Websites are easy, people make them hard. Hit me on the e-mail or I will give you a ring.
Peace

anyone who has played in an entertainment game or watched one live will tell you that among all the incredible and unforgettable highlights, there will always be some turnovers adn botched plays, too. no way to go a whole game with no mistakes, not even nba dudes do that, ask lebron game 1 against the celtics when he went 1 for 18! i think we have all become accustomed to see well-edited and 1 dvds and espn ’streetball’ series. i don’t think mr. k1x should’ve written that they’re washed up one bit. as witness from ball 4 life’s appearance at tri-state classic last year, it’s obvious that they are still as exciting as ever. that was the best game of the summer probably.
That floor looks hard! A tripod or monopod would have helped and highlights of the Chilian team would have been nice but it is good to see them hit South American countries. I’m free to travel, tape and even give them a break on the court!
ayo, drake–they ain’t ready for your shimmy shimmy ya shimmy ya shimmy yay!
